FLP Centrifugal Fans & Blowers

Flameproof Centrifugal Fans & Blowers meet the mandatory requirement of ventilation, exhaust, scrubbing and dust collection applications in hazardous areas where flammable vapours, gases or liquids are handled. These fans & blowers are available in capacity range of 100 CMH to 100000 CMH and static pressure range of 25 mm WG to 1000 mm WG.

Construction Details

Casing:
It is fabricated from MS, SS, Al or FRP/FRB/FRV depending on the nature and temperature of the gas to be handled. It is provided with motor stand and inspection window.

Impeller:
Impeller is of backward-inclined or backward-curved type. Its material of construction is dissimilar to that of the casing to avoid sparking. The impeller is statically and dynamically balanced for vibration free smooth running.

Motor:
Reputed make FLP motors foot mounted or flange mounted with IP-55 protection and Class “F” insulation, TEFC sq. cage suitable for AC 3 phase 400/440V and 50 cycles electric supply, conforming to IS-325 and certified by CMRI as per IS-2148/1981 are incorporated with the fans and blower. FLP motors suitable for single phase electric supply can also be incorporated.

Drive Arrangements:
These fans are generally offered in direct drive arrangement.

Fan Accessories:
Counter matching flanges, drain plug & anti-vibration rubber pads are the standard accessories supplied.
