Cyclones

Cyclones work on centrifugal force principle. When the dust laden air or gas enters the cyclone with high velocity at the top level with the help of blower, heavy particulate matter is thrown along the wall and slides down through the conical section and gets collected at the bottom of the cyclone. The air/gas being lighter rises upward and discharges from the outlet at the top.

Industrial Heavy Duty Cyclone type Dust Collector, in MS powder coated or SS304/316 construction depending on the duty conditions, complete with cylindrical and conical shell, gas inlet and outlet, dust outlet with a sliding gate or rotary air lock valve, and lug supports.

Multi Cyclone Unit

Multi Cyclone Dust Collector Unit consists of more than one small-diameter cyclones(preferably in multiples of two) operating in parallel and having common gas inlet and outlet. It operates on the same principle of centrifugal force as that of a single cyclone. However multi cyclone unit is more efficient than single cycloneas its individual cyclones are longer providing more residence time while their smaller diameter results in greater centrifugal force. Both these factors lead to better separation of dust particles.
